Toshiba International Foundation: 30th anniversary congratulations

The Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese would like to congratulate the Toshiba International Foundation (TIFO) on their 30th anniversary in April 2019. We recognize the continuing significance of TIFO’s mission statement, encouraging greater understanding of Japanese culture around the world, and are very grateful for two decades of their generous support of the Sainsbury Institute.

Executive Director of the Sainsbury Institute, Professor Simon Kaner, contributed a video message of congratulations to TIFO’s Voices of the World on their anniversary site. You can see the video or read a transcript of the message (in English or Japanese) here.

See “Related Information” below for examples of some of the Sainsbury Institute’s past events which have been supported by TIFO.
